Biography

Bishop Erwin A. Scofield entered the ministry in 1987 and is now approaching 25 years of evangelistic preaching and teaching. To date, he has preached over 500 sermons highlighting the gift of salvation and the pursuit of spiritual alignment.

Raising a Voice for the Vision

Bishop Scofield established Scofield Ministries as a platform to speak to the needs of today's church and true seekers of God. His passion for teaching and divine order has compelled him to call the body of Christ to spiritual alignment in order that each local assembly would unite and add efficacy to the church universal.

Bishop Scofield has invested quality time defining and communicating his personal belief system. His spiritual convictions speak to 7 distinct areas of emphasis.

» The Bible is a reference manual.
The Scriptures serve a specific purpose in the spiritual development of believers; preparing us for a living experience with God that can only be realized when we move beyond the text to true relationship.

» There is clearly ONE GOD.
GOD is ONE being whose will to perform acts of creation and opportunities for relationship introduces purpose to all things; including the three divine manifestations by which He reveals himself and relates to humanity.

» Salvation is both instant & progressive.
Salvation instantly removes the consequences of Adam's sin and henceforth makes us accountable for only our own, while adding grace for progressive transformation toward the Christian example.

» Spiritual Alignment restores quality of life.
Divine order was established to align humanity to her GOD through anointed human leadership and spiritual principles that offers protection, peace and prosperity to a people in pursuit of the eternal reward.

» Good humanity adds credibility to spirituality.
Integrity is a sign of deliverance in both those who are committed to Christian ideals while still struggling to overcome bad choices of the past and those whose avoidance of the bad decisions was not accidental.

» Ministry is for everyone.
Ministry is a universal term unrestricted to natural and spiritual boundaries; and everyone who experiences life will give account for their approach to ministry opportunities.

» Running Out of Time into Eternity.
Time is a line that starts and must abruptly stop in the middle of enternity and only those persons that transcends the influence of time will continue to exist with God forever.

Family & Acheivements

Bishop Scofield is the father of three children: Erwin II (a Baltimore City Police Officer), Erin (a United States Marine) and Jennifer (a bright high school senior). In nearly twenty-five years in ministry he has founded an international outreach ministry, pastored two churches, authored several articles and booklets and presided over a bible college and an association of churches.
